Ask my local government to implement a congestion charge

A congestion charge is a fee paid by people who drive into a downtown area, and work in that area, but don’t live there. This adds traffic to downtown roads, causes air pollution and creates dangers for pedestrians. Congestion charges can reduce greenhouse gas emissions, ease gridlocks, encourage people to take public transportation and carpool, offer incentives to encourage people to drive hybrid or electric vehicles instead of vehicles running on gasoline.
